Katie and Aaron, what a beautiful love you have for one another and not only for one another, but for God. I will never forget meeting you on that snowy day at your engagement session and one of the first things you guys asked was if we could pray before the shoot. That was so special and said a lot about you as a couple. I felt honored to be your photographer more than ever in that moment.
Weddings give you an inside look at people's lives and I love that. I have had one beautiful, emotional, amazing wedding after another this year and I often just go back through the photos and smile at the memories. They're not even my memories but they still make me smile. I really do work with the greatest couples. Katie and Aaron's day was just one of those days where I loved every moment. I'm not super emotional on wedding days because I usually just get in work mode but at Katie and Aaron's first look, I was smile crying the whole time. :) They did exactly what a photographer wants for the first look -- they forgot I was there and just spent a few moments together. You'll see in the photos below but honestly, it was one of my favorite moments as a wedding photographer. It's hard to put into words so I'll let you enjoy some of my favorite images from the day! I hope you can feel the joy in these! Get ready for a long post... My decision-making skills are getting worse.
