Taylor + Alex | Hampton, Virginia Wedding Photographer

I met Taylor and Alex up at Swannanoa for a morning engagement session last year and I immediately loved them. Honestly, I can't say enough good about these two. They're genuine, kind, appreciative, happy, silly, energetic, relaxed, and so in love. Those are all things that make my job way more fun on the wedding day. When I get a couple that adores being around one another and can't stop smiling, photos are obviously going to be awesome. Taylor and Alex's Hampton University wedding was perfect. I had SO much fun the entire day and their wedding reminded me why I do this. Taylor and Alex were so excited to have me shoot their wedding and that is why they're my dream couple. When I know a couple is excited about the photos I take, clearly I'm going to love life. Haha.

I've been dying to share their wedding with you and finally, the day is here!!! Here are my absolute favorites from their beautiful spring wedding!! Taylor and Alex, you two are incredible! Thanks for making me love my job. Hope you had fun in Jamaica and that you love the photos!

Taylor and Alex did a First Look, where they saw each other before the ceremony! It's really common in the wedding world these days but a lot of people still freak out about it. I would never push anyone into doing it but not only did they get some precious photos of their reactions seeing each other, but we were able to shoot all the bridal party beforehand, along with some family, and they got a BUNCH of portraits! :) It was great because after the ceremony, we did a few family portraits and Taylor and Alex were able to go relax before the reception. :) I highly recommend it!
