It's amazing what you can find if you go on a walk. I went out Wednesday evening right after a storm. It was just about to get dark so I knew I wanted to make use of my time with my camera. I challenged myself yet again by bringing only my 35mm and went in search of something to photograph. I thought I might find a few puddles or maybe a couple flowers with water droplets on them but I didn't expect to find a run down building with all sorts of rustic elements. Well, I knew the building was near my house but I didn't realize it might be a fun place to take pictures. When I saw ivy on a wall, I went running and ended up spending a good hour almost getting poison ivy, stooping on the wet asphalt to photograph dumpsters, and stepping through thistles and weeds to get what I needed. It's always an adventure with me. Really, it is.

It looks like you got a lot of rain! I enjoy your style. Its fun to see your perspective and all the different angles, the close up of the crates is my favorite picture!

ReplyDeleteWow. As I looked through these, I was struck by how you made something -that would look ugly normally- look like art.
ReplyDeleteOh whoa... I need to do this more often! These are amazing! My faves are the car through the fence, the first indoors one, wilted daisies and the building and it's reflection in the puddle :) Thanks for inspiring! xx
