A Week In Corolla

My week at the beach is over and as sad as that is, words can't express how perfect my time in Corolla was. Becca and I roadtripped down last Sunday morning to meet Jessie and her mom, endured hours and hours of traffic on the way (and jammed with the windows down in the midst to make the time go by), and finally arrived at the cute, red cottage later that afternoon. From the minute Becca and I stepped in that house to the minute we left, the three of us laughed and laughed and laughed. I can't say I've ever enjoyed time with friends more than I did this week and I'm elated because of it. Sometimes it can be hard to spend time with the same people for more than a few days but I can honestly say I enjoyed every moment. I know I say this every time I go on vacation, but it was much needed. This week gave me time to be creative with my camera and iPhone, it gave me a tan, it gave me laughter, it gave me good food, it gave me time to read, it gave me a pool, it gave me the rolling waves of the ocean, and it gave me a new perspective on spending time away from home. Felicia, Jessie, and Becca, thank you for making this week one that I'll never forget. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for being my friends. :)

We woke up for the sunrise to say goodbye.
