Sarah + Cody | Staunton, Virginia Wedding Photographer

Every wedding I've been to in the past couple months has been very different. Obviously, right? Well, I have a couple favorite weddings of the six I've been to and this is definitely one of them! I had more fun at this wedding than I have had at any wedding I've been to and I would have thought I was a guest because everyone was so kind to me. It was really refreshing. The bride and groom are from California and are actors. I know the bride does educational films and I'm not sure about the groom but they were so photogenic and easy to be around. They had a gentle spirit about them and it was amazing to see their love for each other radiate. I was so happy for their being together and I had only just met them!

Sarah, the bride, made a lot of the details for her wedding and you could definitely tell the wedding included both her and Cody's personalities. They're both musical so the bouquet incorporated sheet music and they are very well read so the tables included novels and excerpts from their favorite ones. It was fabulous. That's really all I can say. I'm beyond glad I was at this wedding and it's all because of Lauren, the main photographer, that I was able to be there!! Hope you guys enjoy these photos because they are definitely my favorites so far!

Is this bouquet awesome or WHAT?!

Their ceremony was more like a play because different people spoke and it was so cool. I've never seen anything like it. The little girls in the right photo were fabulous! Such good actresses.

Such beautiful bridesmaids!

Isn't Sarah gorgeous?! Wow.

Love, love, love!!!

They sang together. Yeah. It was awesome.

  1. This looked like such a fun wedding... I love any type of photos in the fall, they always look so pretty. Great job!

  2. Awesome photos, Meredith! The ones with the bride and groom are my favorites. ;)

  3. These are SOOO gorgeous, Meredith! What a cute couple, and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time. :) {Just a quick burst of inquisitiveness... how to you get them to pose? Do you tell them what to do, or just snap when you see a good picture? Or both? :)}

    Love these... the end.
