Kinfolk

After thoroughly vacuuming and dusting the entire upstairs, I relaxed and spent today reading Kinfolk. I've been playing around on my dad's iPad lately (he's never getting it back) and when I realized a few of the Kinfolk magazines were available for iPad, I immediately made the choice to download Volume 4. I sat on my bed, propped up by all the yellow and turquoise pillows in my room and I listened to Of Monsters and Men as I began reading each enthralling story and mesmerizing over the photos. The stories tell of everyday people and basically, what makes them unique. Some people brew their own coffee and know more about what they're doing than a Starbucks owner, some make juice out of combinations of vegetables and fruit you'd never think of putting together, and some get up early many mornings and watch the sunrise over Manhattan. I became so attached to each of these stories because they explain that life should be adventurous and fun. It doesn't matter if adventurous to you is something as simple as cooking a new meal or taking a long walk in a quiet place, but life should be explored and never boring.

I'm amazed at all the different people in the world and as I read these stories, I want to travel. I want to watch people, meet people, and learn about something they love.
