There's a Story In Everyone

I always seem to be a little late on the whole popular t.v. show thing. I just now discovered the Buried Life and I think it's one of my all-time favorite shows. Have any of you seen it? Am I crazy for loving all those guys? Haha. They're actually the perfect dream team. I think they should invite me to go on tour with them.

Anyway, I really do think they are super courageous and if a show ever makes me cry, I know something good is coming from it. Haha. I think they're great guys with great hearts and although most of what they do probably puts them on someone's most-wanted list, I think what they're doing/did is amazing.

For those of you who don't know, these four Buried Life guys made a bucket list of 100 things and have tried to cross off as many as possible. Some of the things that they actually succeeded in crossing off the list include asking out the girl of their dreams (Taylor Swift), playing ball with the President, sneaking into a party at the Playboy Mansion, capturing a fugitive, and the list goes on. These guys are insane but they didn't just cross things off their list; they would help random other people by asking them what they wanted to do before they died. They were able to reunite people, donate computers to schools in need, send a girl to her mother's grave for the first time, help a blind man ride a horse, etc.

The show inspired me. I'm not going to lie. Duncan, Dave, Jonnie, and Ben showed the world that pretty much anything is possible. You may get arrested along the way (I'm not encouraging that) but I think after watching the show, it's fair to say most anything really is possible. They were able to complete a list of crazy, nerve-racking things while helping other people along the way. It taught me two things. 1. Have more fun in life. 2. You can easily change someone's life if you just talk to them and get to know their story. Everyone has one and life wouldn't be anything without those stories. I sound like Dr. Phil when I say this but get to know someone you've never met and share your story while learning theirs. That's my goal for myself and for you this year.
