Kevin Blackburn

I know I talk about my Photography class at school a lot and I hope that's not annoying but it's definitely my favorite class so I always feel the need to share! The other day, we did something aside from the usual printing in the darkroom and we had a guest speaker named Kevin Blackburn. He's a fine art photographer from around my area and during class, we all took our digital cameras out and were challenged to take about twenty photos. He told us to take photos as if the world was a "layer cake." I was a bit confused on that part but basically, he just meant to take photos from different angles -- from the ground, from eye-level, and from above. I went out in the parking lot and my eye was drawn to the cute BMW in the senior lot. I decided to take some shots of it and hope they were what he was looking for. It was nice to do some digital work in Photo for once, so I thought I'd post my favorite images. :) Enjoy.

  1. It's honestly so amazing how great pictures can look if you can just find the right angle. Your pictures look wonderful! xo
