Every now and again I'll have a mini photoshoot with myself but I've never really done an outfit post. I absolutely LOOOVE looking through other blogs that do outfit posts so I thought I'd do one, but before that, I have stories.
I always have the most interesting experiences when I go out for pictures. This time I drove to the back of my neighborhood where I planned to take pictures near the train tracks. While I was walking through the disgustingly tall grass, there were a gazillion trillion crickets chirping and jumping up at me. I hate any type of bug creature so that was not a fun time. Also, as you'll see in the picture below, that is corn; that ain't no train tracks. Apparently lots of stuff grows in the short period of time of six months. Like corn, for example. I didn't know what used to be a field of mud this past winter was now taken over by a field of corn. Nope, I did not. I opted out of walking all the way around the corn to get to the tracks and decided to just take a few pictures where I was right then. So as I carefully maneuvered through the grass to place my tripod, I had my eyes peeled for anything that could possibly come out and attack me. And that's when I heard the vicious growl/bark. I almost ran as fast as I could back to my car until I realized it wasn't a dog. It was a saw, working on a nearby house. Clearly, I was just having a bad day. And then after all my paranoia eased off, I noticed I forgot my remote. OF COURSE. So, I took this picture and came home. It was a giant fail overall, although I kind of like how the picture came out.

Shorts - Wal Mart

I tried again later in the safety of my front yard. No bugs, no vicious dogs that were actually saws, and no horribly bright sun. It was much more successful.
Cute outfit! I love your necklace. :)
