WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOOOO! That's my excitement. A few months ago I mentioned in one of my blog posts that I was going to share a surprise towards the end of the school year but that I couldn't share it at the time because it was a big secret. Well, it's not a secret anymore!!
As I've mentioned a billion times before, I'm on the Yearbook staff and this year one of my pictures was put on the cover of the yearbook. YIPEE! Our Yearbook adviser wanted to personalize the book this year by having me take a picture of the mountains around the Waynesboro area. Sooo... I searched for quite a while with my mom and finally found the perfect spot that included mountains and a curvy road, just as I was asked. Hehe. I am very excited and I think it turned out quite nice. Also, ever since I can remember my yearbooks have been black, but this year it's white! Our rep designed the cover and it looks so nice! She did a great job and I never would've expected it to come to life like it did.
For the many people that have been asking, the picture was taken up at Blue Ridge Farm, which is part of Albemarle County and is up on Afton Mountain. If you clicked on the second link, the picture was taken on the road of that giant house. Can I even call it a house? Hahaha. I took a tour of the place a few years ago before a family moved in and it is beyond beautiful. I cannot even explain it. You can just go see for yourself. If you're interested in going on a mini roadtrip, just ask me for more detailed directions. And also, in the first link on this post, all those pictures were taken at Blue Ridge Farm. It's a gorgeous area. Can I just say we live in a beautiful place? You cannot possibly disagree that the living in the valley is perfect, even though it may be boring.
