Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons, but mainly because I get to see my cousins and extended family. I only see them once a year, at Thanksgiving, and it's always a time full of laughter, impersonating people, tackling, and more. It's basically the best ever. I love my family.

We traveled to Wilson, North Carolina on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) to avoid the traffic from the day before and actually celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday. There was so much good food. In fact, it was so good that it made me realize I'm a little disappointed every day isn't Thanksgiving. Such a bummer.

But anyways, listen to this. We went bowling, we watched football, we ate, we played Scrabble, we attempted ninja-like moves that I couldn't do, we painted, we watched the twins wrestle and talk about how when they were in the womb there were beds that they slept on, we arm wrestled, we were woken by a scary woman yelling at her kid (some of us stayed in a motel), we admired the shiny and classy (oh, wait) ramp in our grandparents' yard that is enormous, we took pictures, we got Dippin' Dots, we got lost in Wal Mart...... Okay, you get the point. Clearly, we are masters at fitting as much as possible into two days and having the best time.

And obviously, I had my camera while I was there to capture it all. It was the first time I'd had my Rebel at a Thanksgiving and I was thankful. Photography helps me relive events that take place in my life. That's one of the hundreds of pros of carrying a camera wherever you go. I took so many pictures to save memories and I'm really excited to share all my favorites. =D. So enjoy the pictures and be jealous of my family while you're at it. =).

P.S. Beware of the long post. There really are a ton of pictures, especially of the twins. I just couldn't stand leaving all the pictures of them out. They are the cutest two children on the face of the planet.
