Reasons

Does this make my third post about fall? Yeppppp. =D. Forgive me. I love this time of year.

On Sunday, as I was waiting for Kylie to pick me up, I sat on our walkway with my camera. It felt so good outside. It was a little cloudy, the leaves were blowing off the trees, and I had my sweatshirt, jeggings, and TOMS on. That right there is perfection. =D. Haha. I love fall. Reasons why?

1. I already said it. I get to wear a sweatshirt, jeggings, and TOMS all the time.
2. The pumpkin spice frappuccino is at Starbucks and we all know why that makes me happy.
3. Young Life has just started and that means Small Group, Club, and Rockbridge.
4. Getting to watch t.v. shows on my computer after school.
5. Cooler weather.
6. Finally having time to read on my bed with a warm blanket and most likely Starbucks.
7. Hot tea before bed. =D.
8. Vampire Diaries.
That's just a few reasons but they're my favorite. =D. And check out these pictures I took while sitting on the ground. =). They make me think of fall.

Kylie | Staunton, Virginia Senior Portrait Photographer

Where do I even start? Oh my goodness. I guess I'll start with the fact that I got the honor of taking my beautiful friend Kylie's senior pictures yesterday!!! Kylie had asked me about four months ago if I would take her senior pictures. Ahhh. I was a little hesitant at first because it's her SENIOR PICTURES. I didn't feel that I could measure up to the expectations she probably had since I'm so new at all of this photography stuff. But I said I would. I prayed about it and practiced a lot from the time she asked me so I'd be as close to ready as possible. I don't know if I was ever "ready" or ever will be, but I felt confident the whole day and I'm really happy with how the pictures turned out.

But anyways, we went to downtown Staunton yesterday to take them! WOOOO. Kylie's such a brave soul. Not only did she ask a crazy junior in high school to take her pictures, but she walked everywhere with me in the drizzly weather and didn't complain one bit. =D. I love her. Kylie, I had sooooo much fun and I'm so honored to say I took your pictures. Thanks for trusting me. I hope you're happy with them. Here are my favorites!!!

Sarah | Staunton, Virginia Portrait Photographer

OH. EM. GEE. I don't think I've ever been more excited about pictures than I am right now. Today I went to downtown Staunton with Sarah, one of my absolute best friends and took some portraits. =). I take pictures in Staunton a lot. Hahaaa. I'm actually doing some senior pictures tomorrow in Staunton and wanted to go down there today with someone to find some places. I asked Sarah. Sarah is one of my favorite people to photograph, not only because she's gorgeous and photogenic but because she loves and appreciates my love for photography. Today I kept saying, "Okay, I promise we're almost done." And she would respond with something about how she didn't mind one bit and was so excited to have these pictures. =D. Oh, I just love her.

We found SO many amazing places though, and I am really excited about these. Here a some..... a lot of my favorites. =D. Sarah, thank you for being amazing. You my fave. =P.

    Snow

Snow. Is. My. Favorite. I usually don't love cold weather but if there's snow involved, I change my mind. Snow is by far one of my favorite parts of the whole year. It's one of those things that just makes me appreciate God and the beauty of everything He created. I love it.

"Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow." Psalm 51:7

I love that verse. It is the perfect example of how I feel when it snows. I feel safe. Pure.

Here are a few pictures from the blizzard or whatever the heck it was this past winter. Looking through them makes me miss it so much. If we don't get that much snow this winter, I might cry.
