Sometimes I find myself wondering if God really does forgive me for all the mistakes I make. I'm the kind of person who has a huge conscience so I usually know right away when I've said or done something wrong or mean. I know that conscience is something that God gave me. Without it, I would be in huge trouble. Haha.
But recently, I've been the victim of some mean things said. It makes me realize two things. One, that I'm not the only one that makes mistakes, although I have Christ in me, and I realize when it's wrong and that I need to fix it. And two, that I really need to pick my friends wisely. I have one friend that honestly, will never stop being the best friend in the world. She's always there for me and I really can talk to her about things that are on my heart. Like this, for example. So I want to thank her for that. I love you!
The pictures below are just kind of neat. It's a picture of a Dogwood tree and a Dogwood flower. Virginia's state tree and state flower is the Dogwood. But anyway, the coolest part is that it's in the shape of a cross!! On most flowers, each side has a little part that looks burnt, and sometimes it's kind of reddish. It's actually a symbol of Christ on the cross. So, I definitely thought it was appropriate to let this be the theme of this blog, since Christ died for us for the very reason of forgiveness. =).
